Whilst I sort out the photos that I have - I'll start by posting up some of the more general pictures that we took.
Enjoy!
More soon!

COMING HOME
Hi,
We're coming home today - all the missions are now complete. :)
The ghost tour went fine. It had been raining tuesday night - but stopped for the 1 and half that the tour lasted. Good fun it was too. :)
Anyway - even though the holiday is coming to an end - the role of this site is only just beginning! Once I'm home there are all the photos to load up! :)
Yay!
More soon!

TUESDAY UPDATE!!
Hi,
All has gone well and we have been progressing nicely with our missions - we are nearly all done now and have even managed to achieve a number of other tasks that were other potential dice rolls.
Here is an update on our official rolls.
Gareth's Activity.
Today we arrived in Phoenix Park, near Dublin zoo and proceeded to rush about in an embarrassing Mel style ginger wig. We actually look really hot in the wig - not in a HOT way, but in a phwoar way. hehe. Photos were taken and even some basic video footage.
Calum's Activity.
Unfortunately the restaurant that we hoped to visit was closed - but we found an equally nice one just down the road and had Thai Chicken brochetta, Tuscan salad and Tagliatelli. It was very tasty too.
Julie's Activity.
Photographs in our tacky t-shirts were taken around Dublin last night - we did end up linking this in with Steve's suggestion that we dressed and acted alike - so we both dressed tackily alike.
Ben's Activity.
We took photos and video footage of me chatting with Harry dressed as the local drunk. I also ordered Guinness in a rather poor Irish accent.
Paul From Out's Activity.
We are heading off this evening on the Zozimus tour. Should they not show up then I will do the tour myself!!!!
Steve's Activity
We copied each other; walking from the the restaurant to the George pub in Dublin and then mimicked each others moves for over 20 minutes. We may do more on this tonight. Hard to get photos of this one.
In addition to this we have also:
1. Been to Howth as suggested in one of Paul's options.
2. Had a photograph taken by a giraffe, at Dublin Zoo, as Calum suggested.
3. Taken a photo holding hands on the Ha'penny Bridge.
4. Had loads of nice coffees like Gareth suggested - that was a very easy one!
5. Done our speeches about each others friendship and will be handing over our presents this evening.
Umm - there may be more. We couldn't find the small pub that Calum mentioned and it wasn't in any of the guide books.
Where possible I intend to take photos to record these events!!
We have also purchased our presents and are mulling over our speeches for friendship ready for the extra activity.
That's about it for now.
More tomorrow!!

UPDATE - MONDAY!
Hi,
Well - we've been dice-rolling on and off today - but it's taken a while to get things ready for some of our "missions". However we are now prepared to do most of our tasks - so will be spreading them out over today and tuesday.
As an quick update we are planning to do, as follows:
Gareth's Activity.
We have purchased an appropriately coloured wig to enable us to look like Melanie Bush. We have also been practising screaming loudly. We will be taking photos of this tomorrow, hopefully in and around Phoenix Park in Dublin.
Calum's Activity.
Tonight we intend to eat Tagliatelli and Tiramasu at a rather nice Italian restaurant in Dublin.
Julie's Activity.
We have bought two tacky t-shirts and will be getting ourselves photographed in some of Dublin's scenic locations later tonight.
Ben's Activity.
We have come up with a rather bizarre way of recreating this suggestion which entails Paul asking for a Guinness in an irish accent and Harry dressing as a tramp. We'll probably be doing this one tomorrow.
Paul From Out's Activity.
We are currently trying to contact the people who do the Zozimus Experience Ghost tour. They do not run a tour on Monday - and require you to email them or text them. We have had trouble contacting them by email - so are looking into doing this one on tuesday.
Steve's Activity
We plan to be copying on another later this evening, maybe over dinner.
Where possible I intend to take photos to record these events!!
We have also purchased our presents and are mulling over our speeches for friendship ready for the extra activity.
Along the way we have also almost achieved some of the other possible suggestions - but more about that when we return.
This morning was spent in the town of Howth and this after in Dublin and St Stephen's Green. However, during the day we have rolled dice to decide a number of things:
a) What type of drink to have in a cafe - what type of cake.
b) What area of Howth we should explore or whether we should return to Dublin.
c) What we should eat for lunch - rolling for both our starters and our main.
d) What amount of tips to leave.
Anyway - that's it for now - more soon and photos to follow in the near future.
Expect an update Tuesday evening.
Hugs n stuff,
Paul and Harry xx

UPDATE!!!
Hi,
Well, Harry and I are safely in Dublin and having a great time - but more about that soon. I am just here to inform you that the dice roles for Monday have now been selected and the following choices have been decided and will be accomplished during Monday 1st and Tuesday 2nd October. (Some of the selections have had to be postponed until the tuesday as, at least, one of the options is not available to accomplish on a monday! Anyway - here we go...
Gareth's suggestion...
Number 2: Bonnie Langford is under-rated as a Doctor's companion - So honour her by spending an afternoon in the role of Melanie Bush as you encounter the delights of Dublin. I expect to be able to hear the screams from here.
Calum's suggestion...
Number 6: Go to a restaurant and only order food beginning with letter 'T'.
Julie's suggestion...
Number 4: Buy the tackiest and cheapest souvenir t-shirts you can find and get your picture taken in a busy tourist place.
Ben's suggestion...
Number 1: Go into a bar order a guiness and chat nonsense with the local drunk - all in an irish accent.
Paul from OUT's suggestion...
Number 4: Book and go on the Zozimus Experience ghost tour.
Steve's suggestion...
Number 4: Mirror each other as closely as possible - try to eat, drink and even dress exactly the same (as close as you can manage)
In addition to that we will also being another of Steve's selections as a fun extra - as it seems very topical to the reason that Harry and I are in Dublin.
2. Buy each other a small gift, and present them with a prepared speech about your friendship.
Anyway - more details on how we got on in the next couple of days.
All the best.

TWO DAYS TO GO...
Hi,
With only two days to go before our valiant boys (erm, me and 'im...), head out to Dublin - I actually have, err - very little to say!
EXCEPT...
Hopefully, I'll be able to update you good readers with some of our adventures on INTERNATIONAL HARRY AND PAUL DICE DAY... via the wonders of the Interweb. That's if we can find an appropriate web cafe.
So keep checking the site to see! :)
Otherwise, photos and whatnot should be available by Wednesday or Thursday (3rd or 4th of October) on our return.
Hopefully there should be some interesting adventures to report. *looks nervous*
Best wishes,
Paulus de Chandlerus.
PS The above is me as a South Park character. Honestly! :)

THE DICE ROLL OPTIONS
Hi,
The following is a list from each of the friends that Harry and I asked to help, of the possible activities that we will be embarking on, on our dice rolling day.
The people Paul asked were - of my friends: Gareth, Calum and Julie.
The people Harry asked were - Ben, Paul (from Out) and Steve.
GARETH'S SUGGESTIONS
1. Flickr 24 Hour Challenge - (you can guess where I've stolen this from) - Take a photo of each other every hour, on the hour for 24 hours to create a lovely photo montage.
2. Bonnie Langford is under-rated as a Doctor's companion - So honour her by spending an afternoon in the role of Melanie Bush as you encounter the delights of Dublin. I expect to be able to hear the screams from here.
3. Dublin has hosted the Eurovision Song Contest six times - Celebrate this achievement by singing at least one Eurovision "hit" at a karaoke venue of your choosing.
4. I am the proud owner of a pet beard and there must be other men out there who are equally proud of their pets - Assess beard wearers' pride by stroking the beards of at least three strangers.
5. In my career as a librarian, I have only ever "shushed" one library user - Equal my achievement by finding a library and deploying a stern, librariany "shush" to one of its patrons.
6. Six is a lucky number - find a lovely cafe, sit down and have a nice cup of coffee and a chat. It's my idea of a good time!
CALUM'S SUGGESTIONS
1. Do not verbally communicate with each other for the whole day.
2. Go to the zoo and have your photo taken with the giraffes.
3. Wear a bow tie round your collar for the whole day.
4. Go to the Dawson Lounge (the smallest pub in Ireland) and drink a pint of Guinness.
5. Walk across the Ha'penny Bridge holding hands.
6. Go to a restaurant and only order food beginning with letter 'T'.
JULIE'S SUGGESTIONS
1. Swap iPods or MP3 players for the day and listen to the other’s music choices on shuffle.
2. Drink ONLY wine/lager/cider/spirits on a night out telling the barperson that you really don’t like Guinness.
3. Swap phones and randomly text someone with the phrase “Dublin is the best city in the world!”
4. Buy the tackiest and cheapest souvenir t-shirts you can find and get your picture taken in a busy tourist place.
5. Take yourselves out to a nice restaurant for dinner, photograph the waiter/waitress, the menu, your food and the bill.
6. Go on the Literary Dublin tour - http://www.dublintourist.com/walks_around_dublin/literary_dublin.shtml
BEN'S SUGGESTIONS
1. Go into a bar order a guiness and chat nonsense with the local drunk - all in an irish accent.
2. Try to blag a free meal.
3. Do something you wouldn't normally do on holiday.....ie spend it on the beach etc.
4. Go to a local landmark (from a known film)and perform a scene from said film , and provide evidence on return.
5. Find a shamrock (in its natural habitat) and photo it as evidence. HINT - try looking in a park.
6. The Devils Advocate roll - pick the lesser evil from the above and do it.
PAUL FROM OUT'S SUGGESTIONS
1. Go to the Irish Museum of Modern Art (It's a 5 minute walk from Heuston station) and spend at least 3 hours there. This can include a short break for tea/coffee in the museum.
2. Go for a walk in Howth. This is a very beautiful place north of Dublin and you can get the DART there from Connolly station. Spend at least 3 hours in Howth. This does not include the time taken to travel there.
3. Book a 'Political Day Trip' to Belfast at the Dublin Tourist Centre. [This might be over budget, but you have to price it first. If it is over budget then you can throw again.]
4. Book and go on the Zozimus Experience ghost tour.
5. Get a bus to Kilmainham Gaol and learn some Irish history. You can leave whenever you have had enough.
6. Find out when there is a meeting at Leopardstown Race Course and watch at least 2 races. You can bet as well if your consicence allows you to gamble.
STEVE'S SUGGESTIONS
1. Go on the Dublin Ghostbus, or failing that do the full tour bus. (see www.dublinbus.ie/sightseeing)
2. Buy each other a small gift, and present them with a prepared speech about your friendship.
3. Treat yourselves as much as possible within budget - cakes, chocolates, champagne etc
4. Mirror each other as closely as possible - try to eat, drink and even dress exactly the same (as close as you can manage)
5. Visit a pub for every year of your friendship within one day (you don't have to drink in all of them!)
6. On the hour, every hour you are awake, have a brief chat about a good time you have shared.
It will hopefully be possible, for me to take photos of what happens on this day, as well as other crazy activities that occur on our holiday.
Now - which option for each friend will be rolled on the day!!!
I propose that I should roll for Harry's 3 friends and he for my 3. :)
Oh golly gee - what have I let myself in for!
